Special K Bars

*1 c. light Karo syrup

*1 c. sugar

*1 ½ c. peanut butter

*5 c. Special K

*6 oz. package butterscotch chips

*6 oz. package chocolate chips

1. Boil sugar and corn syrup until the sugar is dissolved.

2. Add the peanut butter.

3. Stir in the cereal.

4. Press into a greased 10x15 inch pan.

5. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips.

6. Stir melted chips and spread over the cereal bars.

NOTE: Depending on how much chocolate you would like on top, melt an entire 12 oz. package of butterscotch and chocolate chips.

NOTE: Depending on how thick you want the bars--use whatever size pan you would like...9x13 or a jelly roll pan.
