Peanut Butter Cookies

Just typing this out brought back memories! It's been a long time since I've had (let alone baked!) these peanut butter cookies!

Peanut Butter Cookies

*½ c. softened shortening

*½ c. Peanut Butter

*½ c. granulated sugar

*½ c. brown sugar (packed)

*1 egg

*1 ¼ c. flour

*½ tsp. baking powder

*¾ tsp. soda

*¼ tsp. salt

1. Mix shortening, peanut butter, sugars and egg.

2. Add flour.

3. Blend all dry ingredients, stir in.

4. Chill in fridge for an hour.

5. Heat oven to 350°.

6. Roll dough into balls.

7. Flatten with fork dipped in flour…crisscross.

8. Bake 10-12 minutes.
