Another great recipe from my friend Tammy.
FAST, EASY, GOOD!
Seriously, the hardest thing (most time-consuming) about this meal is browning the hamburger.
I make this a couple times a month as well and Joe doesn't mind my biweekly rotation! :-)
Just made it tonight that's why I thought I'd add it!!
IMPOSSIBLE CHEESEBURGER PIE
Ingredients:
*1 lb ground beef, browned with onion, salt & pepper
*1 cup shredded cheese
*1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
*1 cup milk
*2 eggs
1. Brown beef with onion, salt & pepper. Drain grease.
2. Put browned hamburger meat in 9-in pie plate.
3. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
4. Mix the Bisquick mix, milk & eggs in a bowl and then pour over top beef & cheese.
5. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
6. When knife comes out clean, it is done.
Serve with your choice of vegetable (we like asparagus or green beans), apple slices or tupperware jello or cranberry sauce.
NOTE: I've actually used 1 cup Bisquick mix and it turned out just fine too--extra "bready".
