Goulash

(sorry--picture doesn't look very appetizing, but y'all know how good this is!!)

Goulash
*1 lb. ground beef, browned with onion, chopped celery and salt & pepper
*salt and pepper
*small onion
*chopped celery
*Medium egg noodles (or you can use Elbow Macaroni as a variation)
*46 oz can of tomato juice (could use V8 juice)

1. Boil noodles, then drain. Don’t cook noodles too long; let them be a little hard as they will get soft in the oven. If your noodles turn out to be too soft after you bake in oven, you had boiled the noodles too long.
2. Mix noodles & hamburger with half the can of tomato juice. Use at least half the can of tomato juice, and monitor the mixture in the oven to determine if you need to add some more tomato juice.
3. Put in oven in a roast pan with pats of margarine on top.
4. Cook at 350° uncovered for 1 ½ hours.

NOTE: Serve with fresh bread!
NOTE: Todd said he has used the homemade tomato soup in place of the tomato juice in this recipe and it tastes just like how Grandma Lenneman used to make it!
