Glazed Ham (and/or Turkey) and Swiss Sandwiches

These sandwiches were served at Jackie's family bridal shower and they were delish!!
Seriously, I kept going back for more...and not just because I was pregnant and eating everything in sight.
A definite must-make and great to have in your recipe box for parties!

(sorry for the poor picture quality--but you get the idea, right??)

Glazed Ham and Swiss Sandwiches
recipe from Jackie

*2 throw-away foil pans
*2 doz dollar buns
*Deli ham and turkey (1lb. ea)
*Sliced Swiss cheese

Sauce:
*1 c melted butter (2 sticks)
*2 tbsp yellow mustard
*1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
*1 tbsp poppy seeds
*4 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:
1. Mix sauce together.
2. Prepare sandwiches: cut buns, spread sauce on both sides of bun, and then fill with meat & cheese.
(can make ham sandwiches or turkey sandwiches)
3. Spread sauce on top of bun generously --want it to drizzle down sides of bun-- and refrigerate overnight.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, then uncover for 5 more minutes. Serve!

NOTE: Only use foil pans, not glass!!
NOTE: I have found that if you just pour the sauce over the pan of filled buns that the bottoms of the buns get soggy so it's best to slather the sauce inside and on top of the bun before letting it refrigerate overnight.

Variations of this recipe can also be found here and here and here.
