Crunchy Broccoli Salad

Just recently, I found this recipe online and it looked delicious!!
I was just waiting and wondering when I could make it...I thought Jackie's Bridal Shower would be the perfect time to make it! And, I have no fear...I didn't even test it out beforehand--it reminds me of our Oriental Salad so I didn't think I could go wrong! And I love homemade dressing!
Oh--and it was delicious!

CRUNCHY BROCCOLI SALAD
Serves 12+ (1/2 cup servings)

Ingredients:
*broccoli (I used 6 small heads of broccoli for the shower)
*green onions, sliced
*1 lb bacon (I just used bacon pieces in the salad dressing aisle--about one and a half jars)
*2 packages of Ramen noodles, crushed (throw away seasoning packet)
*4 Tblsp melted butter
*1 cup pecans, chopped

Dressing:
1 c. canola oil
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tblsp soy sauce

Check out Your Homebased Mom for complete directions & picture!

What I liked about this recipe: I could get it all ready the night before....cut broccoli up, slice the onions, brown the nut mixture and make the dressing. So, all I had to do before the shower was mix it all together and pour the dressing on top.

I can prepare ahead of time....and it's delicious? My kind of recipe!
