Freezing Diced Onions
This is a great tip!
I use diced onions in almost all my hamburger meals (throw in some diced onion while browning the hamburger), but I don't want to have to cut an onion up each night.
**Great to do when you get a bunch of onions from your garden or the Farmers Market during the summer.**
What to do:
1. Dice or slice up your onion.
(Whatever size you like and use the most)
2. Lay flat on plate and put in freezer (to flash freeze--so they don't all freeze in one clump if you put right in a freezer bag).
3. When frozen, put all the diced onions in a freezer bag, label & seal.
4. Put back in freezer to use whenever you need some diced/sliced onions!
