A quick & easy recipe--turns out great EVERY time!
So easy, I make on holiday mornings (Christmas and New Years) and randomly as a special treat for Joe in the morning!
Recipe received from Joe's brother, Mike, at our wedding shower.
Popover pan required!
POPOVERS
*1 c. flour
*1 c. milk
*3 eggs
1. Mix together (may be lumpy)
2. Pour into popover pan half full (you may or may not need to grease your pan)
3. Put in oven at 375 degrees (do not preheat) for 30 minutes.
NO PEEKING!!!
*You can take them out of the popover tins to cool a little bit before serving (however, they are best when they are hot out of the oven).
Serve with butter -or- honey!
NOTE: Peeking disturbs the temperature in the oven and may cause the popovers to deflate--so, truly...don't open the oven door. If you can't help it, turn the oven light on and look at them that way!
