Another great recipe from my friend Tammy--she used to bring these into Coborn's all the time (yet not nearly enough somehow!) to share.
YUM!
Snicker Cookies
*60 mini snickers (or rolos)/30 funsize bars cut in half, unwrapped
*1 c. softened butter
*1 c. creamy peanut butter
*1 c. white sugar
*1 c. brown sugar
*2 tsp. vanilla
*3 c. flour
*1 tsp. baking powder
*1 tsp. baking soda
*2 eggs
1. Mix all ingredients except the snickers or rolos and make into a dough.
2. Shape dough into a ball around the candy.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
4. Drizzle with chocolate glaze:
*1 c. powdered sugar
*1-3 tsp. milk
*2 Tblsp. cocoa
Notes:
Do not refrigerate the dough.
Make the cookies as soon as you mix the dough.
Do not soften the butter in microwave--let thaw at room temperature.
